Here's a Poem I Wrote For This Painting
Band of Brothers
each one on his own
played a magnificent tone
when they struck a cord together
they could change the weather
perhaps delicate notes
to ward off the redcoats
or an ensemble intense
to become a great defense
playing a music melody
was the best weaponry
if not for their musical tone
where would we be unknown
brothers they band together
eagle, light as a feather
intertwined waves of delight
sounds of grateful might
acoustics form at the ears
giving us harmonics thru the years
strings and cords played just right
keep us safe from the fight
I'm grateful for this wonderful band
let happiness ring on this land!
